No Visa Required (NVR)

Bangladesh origin foreign citizens (except SAARC countries) are eligible for endorsement of “NVR (No Visa Required) to Travel to Bangladesh” in their foreign passports. Their (foreign born) wives and children are also eligible for this endorsement, which allows the holder multiple entries into Bangladesh with unlimited duration of stay within the validity of the passport. Citizens other then the Mexico must submit the proof of residence in Mexico (Resident Permit / Work-Permit / Visa etc.)

Requirements for NVR (No Visa Required) Endorsement:

FEE: Please tender the US $55 (Fifty fiveUS dollars) in the form of bank transfer.  Personal checks or Cash are not accepted.

NO REFUNDS: Fees, once received, cannot be refunded, even if the application is withdrawn or service cannot be rendered.

For Bangladeshi Mexican (who apply first time):

1. Duly filled in Visa Application Form;
2. Recent Passport size Color Photo with white background – 1 (one) copy;
3. Mexican Passport (valid at least for six months);
4. Copy of valid or expired Bangladesh Passport / Copy of Dual Nationality Certificate;

For foreign wife / Husband of Bangladeshi or Bangladeshi Mexican:

1. Duly filled in online Visa Application Form please;
2. Recent Passport size Color Photo with white background – 1 (one) copy;
3. Mexican Passport (valid at least for six months);
4. Copy of husband’s/wife’s valid or expired Bangladesh Passport / Copy of Dual Nationality Certificate;
Notarized copy of marriage certificate;
6. Notarized affidavit/declaration by wife/husband stating that their marriage is not broken.

For children of Bangladeshi / Bangladeshi Mexican (not born in Bangladesh):

1. Duly filled in online Visa Application Form please;
2. Recent Passport size Color Photo with white background – 1 (one) copy;
3. Mexican Passport (valid for at least six months);
4. Copy of Birth certificates showing parents name;
5. Copy of Bangladesh passport of father or mother (first seven pages).

For Transfer of NVR (from Old Passport to New Passport):

1. Duly filled in online Visa Application Form please;
2. Recent Passport size Color Photo with white background – 1 (one) copy;
3. New Mexican Passport;
4. Original old Mexican Passport along with photocopy of its first page and the page containing expired NVR seal;

Processing time for NVR:

Application and requirements are received at the counter between 09:30 am and 12:30 pm;  Monday to Friday, except holidays. Delivery time is from 01:30-3:30 pm.

Please note that the Bangladesh Embassy needs at least three working days to process the NVR application. Therefore, all applicants are requested to send their application well in advance so that the Embassy can process his or her visa request in a timely manner.

1. Please duly fill-in the application form online and fulfill all requirements to avoid any delay in processing;
2. Any document such as Birth Certificates / Marriage Certificate / Academic Certificates etc issued from Bangladesh has to be attested first by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Consular Section), Dhaka;
3. Any misrepresentation of facts may lead to cancellation of visa at any time.
