On November 16, 2021 the First Meeting of the Mexico-Bangladesh Bilateral Consultation Mechanism was held to promote political dialogue, economic relations and cooperation between Mexico and the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
The two delegations agreed to promote contacts and better mutual knowledge between the two societies, and to strengthen the institutional framework for the development of bilateral relations.
In this sense, in order to strengthen the bilateral legal framework, the conclusion of ongoing negotiations will be promoted, namely: instruments on information exchange and customs cooperation; promotion of academic research; education and training of diplomats from both sides; as well as the promotion of cultural and educational exchanges.
